WHAT WE DO

GENERAL OVERVIEW

The work of the Public Lands Institute focuses on three areas—education, research, and community engagement. PLI provides agencies and organizations with the infrastructure to deliver projects in a high quality, timely, and cost-effective manner. The Institute draws upon the expertise and creativity of faculty, students, and community members in southern Nevada and throughout the state and country.

CUSTOMIZED SERVICES AND PROGRAMS

The Public Lands Institute is committed to expanding knowledge, advancing technology, improving education, and engaging the community to enhance public lands stewardship. We use an integrated approach to help public and private clients develop comprehensive land management programs, ranging from messaging campaigns to field and laboratory research to place-based education. RESEARCH PROJECTS

The Institute facilitates, designs, and conducts multi-disciplinary research and provides support services to researchers.
